[HCDX]: Re..Re Recent MW unIDs

Recently Joachim Stiller had these comments regarding some UNID MW stations
heard by Jorge in Spain:

>> 1140 UNID 04:47 SIO/222.
>> Canadian station relaying BBC-WS. Very weak signal. (10Sep97).
>This is very likely CBI Sydney NS.
I agree - CBI is dominant on 1140 here in St. John's.

>> 1210 UNID, 06:24 SIO/333. Two mixed station in English with American
>> accent. One of them on a US typical format with an ID: "TVS, Top Radio
>> Network" and other religious station giving the following address: You can
>> write to "The Bible Sisters Monastry?", PO BOX 552, ???fort, California
>> 95452 USA or 7073?0901, followed by prices of some religious items.
>> (03Sep97)
>VOAR is religious but used to be silent at night. WOGL has 50 kw.
I can't say for sure what either of these is, but VOAR in St. John's (10
kW) is not silent at night (since a few years). In fact, I believe it runs
24 hours quite often. (I can't be sure since I never listen to the station
and 3 attempts to phone them have just left me listening to an answering
machine.) However, the format is unusual/unique for a Canadian station:
syndicated American fundamentalist preaching. Thus, I would consider it
likely that this was the religious staion that Jorge heard.

>> 940 UNID (Probably USA), 03:24 SIO/322.
>> Some US stations but one of them with a program: "Prospective on ABC
>> News" on the accident that involved to Princess Lady Di and Dodi
>> Al-Fayhed. (08Sep97)
>CBM Montreal is common here in deep winter. WINZ has news as well and ids
>as Z-94.
Was that "ABC news" or "CBC news"? The last time I heard WINZ (last March I
think) the ID was "Newsradio 9-40, Wins" -- is this "Z-94" a new slogan?
