Is'nt just an ordinary RS-232C cable? Could someone who knows,
follow up on this.

Jens, the NRD-525 used a special small round plug and 1.5 cm in diameter
that shipped with the optional I/O card. Very tough to wire and when I
was a JRC dealer I usually sold the JRC-made cable. The NRD-525 card and
cable were among the first accessories to disappear when the receiver
was finally discontinued.

One of the things that Paul Lannuier of JRC/NY (at the time) and I did
was to convince JRC to change to the DB-25 that first appeared on the
NRD-525. And we got JRC to make the computer interface part of the
receiver, rather than an add-on.
