Re: [HCDX] Classic Gold 1521

I listened to 1521 kHz this afternoon (23 Mar) on groundwave.

At the top of the hour, the automatic ID at xx:59:50 has the wording:
_. . .__ ... (NEWS in morse code)
"Keeping you up to date in Surrey and Sussex - Classic Gold Digital - Breeze 15-21"

... which is why Ismo hears the "Breeze" word.

But during the rest of the programming, they play jingle ID's such as this: "Classic Gold 15-21 Reigate, East Grinstead and Crawley."

which don't contain the "Breeze" word, which is what Gisle heard.

I've put examples of each on my website as short MP3 files

Hi Mark & all,

I happened to listen to 1521 kHz yesterday morning at 0500 UTC and saved on
my disk a clear ID of this "Classic Gold Breeze". I can e-mail it if anyone
is in doubt.

Nothing new ... it's the old "Radio Mercury" in Reigate.
"Classic Gold Breeze" is on 1359 kHz & 1431 kHz - not 1521 kHz.
