- End of wx report for Northern Nova Scotia, followed by a man announcing "Right
now Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls" wich is what they played (a very nice
1986 eurodisco hit with some rap); after the end of the song the man said the
title again and mentioned "on CKEC", followed by another short, but detailed
weather report followed by 2 Hot-AC song (one was R&B and the following was
soft-rock). Excellent to occasionally fair reception, but about 12 minutes later
reception deteriorated dramatically with CJMR Missisauga fading up to excellent
level too, unfortunately; still had very, very brief bursts of this with
near-excellent signal, playing the rock song (a bit similar to Roxette). No
Latins noted on mediumwave this evening as checked 1 hour
earlier (Chiochiu-QC)
