[HCDX] Logs and QSLs from NH-USA, August 22-24

24, English/French, Elton John, "Sacrifice" in EG at
t/in, French pops/ballads/rap music w/ OM in FR b/w
selections, continuing through bottom-of-hour. Weak
but steady signal w/ occasional static. (Barbour-NH)

6185, CHINA, Huayi PBC, 1113-1136, August 24,
Mandarin, OM and YL w/ talks b/w piano musical bridges
and the occasional ballad. weak but steady with weak
co-channel Mexico eventually fading out. (Barbour-NH)

6250, KOREA(DPR), Pyongyang BCS, 0952-1007, August 23,
Korean, Choral/anthem -like music w/ breif YL b/w
selections. Poor/weak w/ ute QRM. (Barbour-NH)

7260, UNIDENTIFIED, 1021-1043, August 24, Vernacular,
Continuos light vocal music and ballads until 1039,
then announcer over music followed by banter b/w two
announcers. Overtaken by USB chatter at 1043. Poor
under static, music fair at best, v.weak announcer

Thought this might be Vanuatu but after reading Guy
Atkins Grayland DXpedition logs regarding 7260 and
Jerry Bergs follow up on not logging Vanuatu during a
recent trip to Hawaii, I doubt I logged it either.
Perhaps Mongolian Radio as Guy opined?

9965, PALAU, KHBN, *1001-1033, August 22, Mandarin,
Crash-start w/ light instrumental music, followed by
continuos religous ballads until fanfare at 1029 w/
presumed ID announcement by both OM and YL. OM w/ tlks
at 1301 thru t/out. Fair. (Barbour-NH)

DTK-Juelich, 1818-1836, August 22, Arabic, OM w/ talks
b/w orchestral music bridges, slogans by OM and YL
followed by OM w/ interview at 1835. Poo/fair w/

15565, CLANDESTINE-ETHIOPIA, VO Dem. Path of Ethiopian
Unity via DTK-Juelich, 1837-1903, August 22, Ahmaric,
OM w/ talks re Kofi Annan; Ethiopia b/w brief HOA
vocal music bridges, continuous through top-of-hour.
