[HCDX] Logs from Greenback TN
5030 Burkina Faso, Radio Burkina. Date: 03/11/2005. Time: 2316-2400. YL/OM
ancrs in FF playing rap and pops in EG and FF. Signal completely obliverated
by R. Rebelde at TOH. Good until then. (Wood, TN).
6926 Pirate, WKIL. 03/11/2005. Time: 2159-2318*. First log of this station.
Very weak signal with slow blues and jazz. A long pirate logging. Most of
the
bx was unreadable, but it improved towards the end. Heard ID and s/o anmts
at 2318 as âThis is Jack Black transmitting from a remote location.â Also
heard ID as âWKIL.â Mx included âVoodoo Childâ and a Zepplin tune
Poor reception at best. (Wood, TN)

ancmts and IDâs in FF followed by nx by YL. Good. (Wood, TN).
11715 Goa, AIR(p). Date: 03/11/2005. Time: 2208-2220. YL with EG nx followed
by OM with commentary and ments of Sri Lanka. Poor. (Wood, TN)
3320 South Africa. Radio Sondergrense (Meyerton). Date: 03/12/2005. Time:
0348-0356 UTC. YL ancr in Afrikaans with EG pop mx including âRain in
Africaâ at 0350. Fair. (Wood, TN).
4052.5 Guatemala, R. Verdad. Date: 03/12/2005. Time: 0400-0405. OM ancr in SP
with marimba mx. ID in SP at 0405 as âRadio VerdadâGuatemala.) Fair to
good. (Wood, TN).
4385 Peru, Radio Imperio. Date 03/12/2005. Time: 0407-0454 UTC. Religious
service or rally with OM and lots of crowd noise. Several âHalleluiahsâ
throughout. Poor. (Wood, TN).
4885 Brazil, Radio Clube Do Para(Belem). Date: 03-12-2005. Time: 0457-0509.
Pop mx in PP. ID at 0509 as âRadio Clube Do ParaâBelem.â LA version of
the âchicken song.â Fair. (Wood, TN).
4990 Surinam, Radio Apintie (Paramaribo). Date: 03/12/2005. Time: 0520-0537
UTC. Hvy static. First log of this station. Lots of upbeat and rap mx in EG
including something by Ricky Martin and âExpress Yourselfâ by Madonna.
Poor to fair. (Wood, TN).
5029 Costa Rica, University Network. Date: 03/12/2005. Time: 0543. The late
Dr. Scottâs station with a song by Ray Stevens about a squirrel getting
loose and wrecking havoc in a church in Pascagoula Mississippi, USA. VG.
