[HCDX] LOGS

Last Thursday we left for a 4 day trip to Athens and surrounding
areas for vacations. I shall notice however that our eastern will be after
one month. Below you will find several logs made in Nea Makri, inside
the hotel , the only place I could DX as in any other places conditions
were in general very difficult to DX due to high levels of QRN. This
small village is bt 40 km NE of Athens and other points visited were
Rafina, the east harbour of Athens, abt 5 km South from N Makri and
Evia island.
Below are also several other logs made last Wednesday including
Latin station follow ups of 22.3
LOGS Thessaloniki March 23+29 with help of DBS 6 for Latin stations
USA? 15090 VoA 1446 with news in Pashto , and several reports .
Many refs to Afghanistan. Not clear ID at TOH. Signal S6 33433.

LOGS IN NEA MAKRI ATHENS All logs March 25 use of Degen 1103
and Tecsun PL200 reeled antenna of abt 2.5 m of length
MALAYSIA 15295 VoM 1645 with Arab programming , traditional
Malay and Arab rock songs . 44434 Little overloaded On 1700 with
Malay program, news by Mrs Zakari(!) and deli songs. At 1800 again,
with Malay rock ballads. 42443 at 1700. Same signal outdoor with fully
open telescopic antenna
[S AFRICA] 11995 SWR Africa 1807 with afro pops . Talk on candidate
on Rwanda , followed by talk in unIDed lang . 'Countdown to election' ,
talk , address @swrafrica.com . Strong signal
DJIBOUTI ,4780, 1810 with traditional songs . Nice signal 3333 At 1818
QRM by Mossad station MIW
NEW ZEALAND (p)11980 RNZI 1842 . OM with news . Poor signal with
AM Narrowband. Nothing on 15761 at 1852
ETHIOPIA 6940 R Fana 1925 talks, marginal signal
INDIA 15075 //15155 AIR 1944 ID by YL in English . Poor at 15075 ,
fair on 15155
USA 15330 R Marti 1942 theme on Castro's historic personality (in
Spanish), the Venezolanean tyranny . 34333
