[HCDX] Power Outage Logs

Hi all,

Last evening at sundown, we had a power outage. I took that opportunity to hookup my NRD545 to my power pack and briefly see what I could hear without local line noise. Here's a couple of the stations:

China, 4620, Nei Menggu Radio, 2243-2300 mainly a woman in Chinese comments. The signal was threshold. (Chuck Bolland, January 3, 2005)

China, 4980, People's Broadcasting Station, 2230-2235, Noted Interval signal for a minute, then woman in Chinese(?) language followed by music. Signal was poor. (Chuck Bolland, January 3, 2005)

Peru, 5939.32, Radio Melodia, 2234-2240, Continous Spanish news and comments by a man and woman. Signal was fair. (Chuck Bolland, January 3, 2005)

Bolivia, 4716.69, Radio Yura, 2237. Noted a woman in Spanish comments. Signal was fair. (Chuck Bolland, January 3, 2005)

Bolivia, 3309.95, Radio Mosoj Chaski, 2240, Just a faint signal so far with a person in Spanish comments. (Chuck Bolland, January 3, 2004)

At this point I decide to take a snooze until the power came back.
