[HCDX] New Joint Director for AIR
New Joint Director for AIR
Mr V Sankaran, Information Officer, Press Information
Bureau (PIB), today took over as Joint Director
(News), All India Radio (AIR), Chennai.
An Indian Information Service (IIS) officer, Mr
Sankaran had served as correspondent and news editor
in the news services division of AIR in New Delhi,
Madurai and Pondicherry.
He had also served as Public Relations Officer,
Ministry of Defence, a PIB release here said.
Mr N Andavan, Assistant Information Officer, PIB,
Chennai has also been promoted as Inspector of
Exhibitions in the Directorate of Advertising and
Visual Publicity (DAVP) today, the release said.
He had earlier served in AIR and Directorate of Field
Publicity, the release added.
