[HCDX] Logs from NH-USA, Aug.14-15

6165, CROATIA, (P)Croatian Radio, 2209-2300*, Aug.15,
English, Continuous oldies pop music by the likes of
The Beatles; Simon and Garfunel; Glenn Campbell and
many others from the 50's, 60's and 70's-many familiar
but unknown to me. (A bit before my time!) Elvis cut
off at 2300 for pips (2+1) then off. No IDs or
announcers. Fair/good. (Barbour-NH)

7295, MALAYSIA, Traxx FM, 1015-1030+, Aug.15, English,
DJ banter and pop music poking thru the static; couple
of words audible here and there. Poor but first signs
of audio here at my location since early spring.

7420, "MADAGASCAR", R.Sweden via Talata-Volondry,
2133-2145, Aug.15, English, URL at t/in for "..todays
top stories..". News re lobbyists in Sweden and
feature on a "..popular singer of her day..". Poor at

7450, GREECE, R.S. Makedonias, 2146-2202, Aug.14,
Greek, Announcer b/w Greek ballads. YL w/ ID at 2200.
OM w/ news headlines. Fair/good. (Barbour-NH)

9750, MALAYSIA,(T)VO Malaysia, 1036-1105, Aug 15,
Vernacular, Instrumental music including version of
"Imagine". YL at 1055 w/ tentative "Saura Malaysia"
Pips/OM at 1100 them music and talk. Fair w/ 9755-WYFR
slop at 1100. (Barbour-NH)

11550, TAIWAN, R.Taiwan Int'l, 1127-1146, Aug.15,
Indonesian(listed), Pop ballads and YL w/ phone-in
prg. of sorts; sounded like answering machine
messages. Nice ID at 1145. Fair. (Barbour-NH)

11680.15, KOREA(DPR), KCBS-Pyongyang, 1542-1604,
Aug.15, Korean, Usual format of ballads and anthems.
Pips/OM w/ presumed ID at 1600. Poor/fair. Rather
surprised to hear this at my local noontime hour.

12065, "RUSSIA", Bible Voice B/C via Khabarovsk,
1155-1206, Aug.15, English/Vernacular, E-mail address
in language at t/in. Ballad then Bible study offer to
U.K. address in EG and URL at 1159. Appeared to crash
start into program in language at 1200. Fair.

1608-1659*, Aug.15, Vernacular, Various
interviews/speeches and a few musical bits. YL w/ ID
at 1656, OM at 1658 over horn/drums and "jungle"
sounds until 1659*. Fair. (Barbour-NH)

15050, INDIA, AIR-New Delhi, *0133-0145, Aug.15,
English, IS, ID, OM and YL w/ commentary re India's
59th Independence Day. Audible but not a lot to work
with. Best of the 5 freq's carrying EG heard here.
