Things are slowly returning to a state of normalcy around here. We had some
rain yesterday afternoon which was leftover from the system that hit Yemen.
It quieted down the electrical noise a bit, so made DX'ing a little more
enjoyable.
1440 SAUDI ARABIA, BSKSA Dammam, heard w/Arabic program and announcer
talk at 17.53 on 29 Oct. Fair sigs at 1600kW
1449 IRAN, VOIRI Bandar-e-Torkmen, heard with classical music and
male/female talk at 17.40 on 29 Oct. Fair sigs for 400 kW
1494 JORDAN, R. Jordan Arabic service heard with pop EG music and male DJ
at 17.10 on 29 Oct. Fair sigs, but deep fades even with 1000kW. Pulled out
of the dirt by the MW-550P.
9930 CHINA, CNR Program1 heard @ 14.20 on 29 Oct. with PSAs chat program.
Apparently here in lieu of Firedrake against Sound of Hope.
