transmitter, *0359-0430*, Dec 19, sign on with Horn of Africa  music.
Opening ID announcements in Tigrinya at 0400 & talk. Local  drums.
Some Horn of Africa music. Fair until 0401 when covered by  noise
jammer. In the clear on // 9556.13v - drifting up to 9556.44.  Listed

** GUINEA. 7125, Radio Conakry, 0724-0733*, Dec 19, French talk.
Abrupt  sign off. Fairly strong carrier but low modulation. Tentative.

** NIGERIA. 6089.85, Radio Nigeria, Kaduna, 2020-2204, Dec 19,
talk in  listed Hausa. Tribal chants, local music, Afro-pops. Good
signal at tune-in  but some talk with low modulation. Poor to fair signal
after 2030 due to DRM  QRM. QRM from Brazil after 2145. Covered

** ZANZIBAR. 11735, Radio Tanzania-Zanzibar, 1800-1825, Dec 19,
English  news to 1810. “Spice FM” ID. Swahili talk at 1810. Local 
Mid-East style  music at 1823. Good level but still with poor, warbling
