Re: [HCDX] OE10M ON 14255u
I was part of the CW1GM gang who activated Punta del Este,Uruguay. Unfortunately, the condx this time were mostly poor towards the Northern Hemisphere. The DXSummit showed contacts being reported between N.America and Europe and Asia, with no QSOs across the Equator. This effect was experienced during our local evening,1700 to 2000 UT. I remember Index A was reported 11.
The strawberry of the cake for me came at the very end of the radio party, when I made QSO with CE3BBC, OM Hugo, from Santiago, Chile a friend from the Latin American group of DXers, also a SWL as we are. Most of the DX performed at CW1GM was made on PSK31. This a nice event, commemorating for us 100 years of Marconi´s visit to Uruguay) in 1910, he had MMO on the air, built in 1908.
As usual, these activations are a nice party, not depending of condx to guarantee great moments of friendship and radio activity!!
