** ANTARCTICA. Another weekday, time to seek LRA36 on 15476, but no carrier detected July 19 at 1309 when there was something on 15480, nor at 1419. Off the air? Daytime propagation on 19m has been pitiful lately (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CHINA. Firedrake July 19:
 9040, fair at 1254
10500, good at 1256 // 9040
14700, fair at 1259, gone at 1347
No others found up to 16 MHz by 1300

15520, CNR1 jamming plus motorboating noise, July 19 at 1349; CNR1 was // but a reverb apart from 15285 vs BBC. 

15520 must be today`s landing spot for V. of Tibet via Tajikistan at 1330-1400, which in Aoki list dated 19 July is shown on 15530 with *jamming (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** INDONESIA. 9526-, VOI back on the air July 19 at 1245, very good signal during Japanese hour with announcements, Indonesian songs. But lost modulation by next check 1316 during English hour, open carrier only. At 1343 bits of music were cutting on and off. Wiggle that patchcord! By 1352 music stayed on past 1357 when hit by CRI 9525 het. 

As for totally missing on July 18, when I tuned in at 1212, Tony Ward in Ontario says: ``Glenn: VOI, 9526, Sunday July 18 2010, had a better than typical perfectly readable signal from TI 1105 (Chinese) through to 1207 when the carrier was abruptly cut.`` (Glenn Hauser, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA [and non]. 1580, KOKB Blackwell still in open carrier, July 19 at 1306, but nothing in Spanish underneath, just English mix of several skywave stations, at the moment dominated by the Dan Patrick Show with a subhost, sports talk, which is on ESPN. By 1350 UT, however, KOKB resumed overmodulation, blocking everything else.

NRC AM Log, which is now almost a year old, shows four ESPN stations on 1580, in GA, KY and MS, but the closest is KTGR Columbia MO, tho only 214 watts.

Before 1306 I made out a single word on 1580, ``Colfax`` which points to Denver, one of its major streets, if KKKK Colorado Springs programming also airs in Denver --- and it does, in fact originating in Longmont on KRCN 1060, ``The Big Money Station[s]``. Website http://www.thebigmoneystation.com/ shows two dogs on staff, Bella and Fannie, ha ha. A.k.a. Rocky Mountain Radio = RMR (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SPAIN. 15385, REE, Monday July 19 *1423 with IS, 1425 sign-on Emisión Sefarad, VP signal and fading, but think she still claims to be on 11795 at 0115 UT Tuesdays, which is still totally unconfirmed. Maybe I`ll remember to check for 11795 once more tonight (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1210, KEVT Sahuarita AZ [Tucson] final broadcast audible UT July 19 at 0510 with race music under talk in English from presumed KGYN, 5-6 Hz apart. Nulling KGYN confirms its direxion from Guymon OK but not enough KEVT in that position (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ###
