[HCDX] Thursday Morning DX

Colombia, 5910, Marfil Estereo, (pres) 1050-1100,
Listening to a steady stream of

Colombian popular music with a male breaking in
periodically to give time

and chatter. Signal was poor. (Chuck Bolland,
February 11, 2010)

Unident, 5924.90, 1101-1115, Noted a male and female
in what seemed

to be news. Believe the language might possibly be
Vietnamese.

Between each item of the news, bridge music was
presented.

Both China (CNR) and the Voice of Vietnam are schedule
on

this freq at this time according to EIBI and AOKI, so
not sure

who this might be? I hear only one station in an Asian
language.

The bridge music does not sound like Chinese music.

Signal was fair but difficult pull out details. (Chuck
Bolland,

February 11, 2010)

Peru, 6019.256, Radio Victoria, 1119-1130, Noted the
"Weeping Preacher"

doing his thing in the Spanish language. He sounded
especially sad this

morning. The signal was sandwiched next to one of the
boomers that

use 6020. Thus with a poor signal, Victoria was
logged. (Chuck

Bolland, February 11, 2010)

Russia, (Relay) 6135, Deutsche Welle, 1130-1200, Noted
a program of News and

commentary in Mandarin Language. Every few minutes a
clear ID as,

"Deutsche Welle" is presented. Signal was fair.
(Chuck Bolland, February 11, 2010)
