[HCDX] DX Loggings - Ralph Perry - 17 May

BANDSCAN - Notably good propagation conditions at 1015 check this morning (much 
better than earlier this week).  Unfortunately, bands not staying open much 
later as local sunrise already in progress at this time. Sweep of bands turned 
up the following:  Strong signal from 4789.90 Vision/Chiclayo, ditto 5039 
Junin.  4814.98 Buen Pastor okay.  Really big signal out of Victoria 6019.18 and 
best signal yet out of Guaviare 6035.02 with the usual rosary.  Unid LA sig 
noted on 4975, possibly Del Pacifico, to be rechecked.  At same time as LAs 
getting ready to fade out, Asians already fading in, with best signal yet from 
4755.47 Pohnpei on this date plus a presumed 5960 Fly.  Carrier amidst a lot of 
QRhaM on 3945, can't make out modulation -- was hoping for Vanuatu, which Ronnie 
Howard has been hearing lately, but no luck.  (R Perry, Illinois).
