[HCDX] Caution with the message "Good new"

Manuel Méndez

Hi to all

The message send to Hard Core from Daniel Sampson with the subject
"Good new", looks like a spam message.

Please, take a look at this in the GMail help forum:

"My Gmail Account Was Hacked Today And Spam Messages Sent To All Of My
Contacts Report abuse

Explain your issue in full detail here:

When I got home today I saw around 40 unread messages with most of them
delivery failure notifications. I looked into it and turned out that my
Gmail account has been hacked and been used to send out spam messages to
all of my contacts. The message was:

'Hey,
How are you?
I'm so happy today because just received my laptop from towoeo.com
with such low price of the quality goods , you can have a look if you
need any electronic products , There are many famous brand of electronic
products with original quality and international warranty. Hope it is
valuable to you soon!
All The Best!'

I looked into account history and my account was accessed by this:
BrowserChina (219.234.81.179)15:10 (1.5 hours ago)

This is obviously the spammer as I have never been to China and would
never access my account from China etc.

I have since taken off the auto reply the spammers put on my account and
have changed my password but I am wondering how I go about reporting
this to Google that my account was hacked?"
