Monchegorsk is in the NW corner of Russia near Finland and Norway, see WRTH 2011 map on page 61, where it`s almost noon. Surely you were getting the other 5930 transmitter at this hour, Petropavlovsk / Kamchatsky on the Pacific Coast over a full darkness path. We commonly hear this 2-3 hours later, when it`s // but not synchronized with 5940 Magadan, i.e. on the same FE timezone feed, which Monchegorsk would not be.
