[HCDX] Loggings From June 3-11
CLANDESTINE 6600 and 6518 V.O. the People Surprised to see these freqs in the clear with no jamming from 0955 to at least 1015. Went into KR Pop mx at 1011!! Then into pgm intro and next feature at 1015. Others were jammed however. (3 June)
MALAYSIA 7295 Traxx FM Still going off and on at 1018. Was at a lower power at t/in, then suddenly about twice as strong when it came back on. (3 June)
MALAYSIA 9835 Sawarak FM 1029 Islam pgm promo. 1100 RTM ID going into nx by M. (3 June)
CHINA 6135 CNR1 The very distorted signal on 6133 yesterday wasn't there today. Only a fairly strong CNR1 was here at 1035 //9660. (5 June)
BRAZIL 6104.78v R. Cultura Filadelfia (pres.) Found the signal here and drifting down as it faded after 1010. Too weak for audio. Besides, pres. Taiwan was on 6105 and a fair CNR jammer was on 6104.994. (5 June)
TAIWAN 9745 V.O. Han (pres.) 1037 definite tlk by M in Asian lang. and into pleasant mx at 1038. W anncr at 1041 very briefly then M. Mx when I returned at 1057. Vcl mx at 1059. High-pitched flute melody at ToH, then W anncr past 1107. Still too weak. M and W anncrs at 1115. 1123 Pop mx. (5 June)
BOLIVIA 6154.92 R. Fides Found w/soft rel. mx at 0003. Then an UNID. stn signed on at 0005:16 causing QRM. Switched to LSB and notched out the offending stn. Caught M anncr starting w/nice ID at 0017:22. Both stns about equal by 0020. Canned anmnts at 0030 including an ID promo by M. Another canned ID promo between songs at 0046. (9 June)
MYANMAR 7345 Rakhine BS Some fair audio at 1036. Usual Asian Pop mx pgm w/W anncr host. Wasn't listening, but from the screenshot, the signal picked up from about 1050-1055. Then CNR came on at 1100 but surprisingly was only about half as strong!! And then it faded. Rakhine was all overtop. I was surprised again when Rakhine peaked a second time at 1125. It appeared Rakhine peaked during our local sunrise, then droped off while both QTHs were in daylight, then peaked again when Rakhine entered nighttime. I don't know why CNR was so weak today. Nice Asian Pop song at 1126, instru. mx filler at 1128 and usual W anncr. 1129 sounded like some sort of tribal percussion tuning signal, and W anncr again for about 30 seconds. During this time a time tone was noted. It might have been CNR, but not sure. It was probably on Rakhine denoting the top of their hour. Back to Pop mx at 1130. (9 June)
BRAZIL 4905.038 R. Anhanguera ZY Pops and ballads. There was a canned anmnt by M around 0056 but I couldn't copy. Went over ToH w/mx but there was a canned probable promo by W between songs at 0001, and again at 0011. Surprised to finally get a canned ID by the same W at 0015:40. CODAR was tough. There was another signal on 4905.015 which might be Religio. No audio however. (11 June)
PERU 4774.898 R. Tarma Great OA Pop mx from 0043 t/in. Rapid speaking M anncr at 0058 but no ID. Did catch a TC. Beautiful clear full canned ID w/calls at 0101. Fairly good w/het QRM from pres. Congonhas on 4774.98. No problem when it was notched out though. It went off at 0100 just before the Tarma ID anyway. (11 June)
MADAGASCAR 5014.75v R. Madagascara (pres.) Per Ron Howards tip of the Euro DXers hearing Madagascara reactivated on this freq, checked and found it came on at 0216. It was not only varying (almost like a slow vibration) back and forth by about 20 hz, it was also drifting around from 5014.71 all the way up to 5014.96. It was too weak to get any audio, and Reblede was slopping all over it, especially when they played mx. (There was another signal on 5014.96, probably the ZY, which was stable). Quite a contrast between the 2 signals. (11 June)
