** PAPUA NEW GUINEA. 3905, Oct 17 at 1243, JBA carrier amid the LSB QRhaM. Maybe R. New Ireland, Kavieng, sporadically active lately. We`ll see if Ron Howard had it today (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1691, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** TURKEY. 11980, Oct 17 at 0519, TRT good signal with flutter, Turkish pop music and talk. Recently this had been very poor as to be expected as we get into fall and winter darkness (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U K [non]. 5980, Oct 17 at 1236, BBCWS an echo apart from // 9740 Singapore as quickly confirmed rather than a major English SW broadcaster such as CRI; 1250 about formula factories trying to discourage ---ugh--- breast-feeding by humans in Venezuela.

It seems these day-of-week jumparounds from original 5875, have not made it into HFCC, still shown as daily 12-14 5875 via THAILAND. I was thinking the Thursday-only frequency was 5975, but Aoki today does have it on 5980 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1210, Oct 16 at 1245 UT, remnant of KGYN easily nulled, so from N/S, I hear school lunch menus starting with Woonsocket (?! Can`t be Rhode Island as there are no 1210s anywhere in New England in deference to Philadelphia), then for Huron schools, 7:47 TC, 30 degrees, KOKK, to join the American Ag Network in a few minutes. Yes, there is a Woonsocket in SD south of Huron (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) Not KKOK as I misspokke on WOR 1690
