17830 BBCWS English via Sentec Meyerton AFS relay center, fair S=8 -80dBm
signal logged at Brisbane Queensland unit. Time given as 0711 GMT in London,
interview by phone about recent Tunisian elections, about present economical
problems in this country and their highly frustration in peoples life now.
17880 BBC French service via Sentec Meyerton AFS center, at 0713 UT, poor
signal into Queensland by S=6-7 level.
15120 one of the strongest signals in 19mb at 0714 UT Dec 22, Nigeria in
English ! news, accompanied by wiping whistle audio tones out of this
transmitter in Abuja? My question, how is the signal path out of West Africa
at this hour? probably across Atlantic Ocean, Brazil, further South America,
Chile, southern Pacific into AUS and NZL ? S=9+25dB surprisingly strong.

6-9 UT, maybe backlobe signal short path across Indian Ocean? or via long
path in SoAM and Pacific ?
15230 Surprisingly strong signal of AWR MBR Nauen transmission in Arabic
language, S=9+20dB properly, that's real long path via Acores, Colombia,
Easter Isl, southern Pacific. 0719 UT on Dec 22.
15275 DWL Kigali Rwanda relay outlet in English language, fluttery S=7-8
signal, interview held in Zimbabwe illegally. 0722 UT
15770 TOM Brother Stair sermon via RMI Okeechobee Florida, like more than
fair S=8, TOM ID at 0725 UT Dec 22.
15870 SOH bcast, one of the stronger level, never 100 watts, must be in 10
to 50 kW range?
