990 KRKT Albany Oregon will switch from Classic
Country music to "progressive" talk on Monday. It is supposed to counter
it's sister station 1340 KLOO's conservative talk. KRKT will feature
programming from Air America. Clear Channels choices were either spanish
programing or progressive. Good going Clear Channel, duh. They own Albany and
Corvallis and do what they please.
