| I'm looking for advice. Both ZIZ 555 and ZIS 1540
remain on the "most wanted" list in Central Alabama. Despite numerous attempts,
including many during AU conditions, I have been unable to log either of
these stations. They seem to come in quite well across most of the
Eastern US, but have proven difficult at my QTH. In part, it may be
due to the almost impossible ability to place any directional antenna
to the South, best I can manage is an unterminated BOG that will run
due North. Am I just in a bad spot "skip zone" wise? I've
taken to listening to both stations real audio streams at work to make myself
familiar with their programming, announcers, etc. But this is getting
frustrating! 73, Les Rayburn, N1LF Les Rayburn, director High Noon Film 100 Centerview Drive Suite 111 Birmingham, AL 35216-3748 205.824.8930 205.824.8960 FAX 205.253.4867 CELL http://www.highnoonfilm.com 205.253.4867 |
