Re: [IRCA] New explanations for Wobbler?

Charles - right, unlikely wobbler genesis; idle speculation. RE: islanding, recall candlelight homework, '65 blackout. Looking east, downhill, RI -MA border brightly lit. Companies too small for interconnect, Newport Elect. northward to Blackstone Valley Elect. remained hot when all else crashed. Cuban grid a variable speed albeit continuous disaster?
Our '65 source of emerg'y info? WPRO AM, doubtless one of 'half of all AM sta's we could lose and not miss' according to Robert J. Struble's assuredly objective computer models. Source: current Radio World Engineering Extra. What's he 'telegraphing'?
Same issue - this gem of disingenuousness: "Problem w/AM interference not IBOC, it's clear channel sta's".   Editor insensitively identified writer as IBOC co-developer. Could it be more obvious?

Wobbler mystery continues. Debate rages. Don Fido pulls far back. And gloats.

Wha'ts the nearest target of opportunity?
