Jeanne knocked it down I used my 160 meter tee vertical for DXing the MF AM
broadcast band. Of course it received omnidirectional but worked like
gangbusters. I could here many more signals popping out on top on any given
frequency. It consisted of three 240 foot flat top
wires, a 70 foot vertical section, a 60 foot horizontal linear loaded
section and was over 64 130 foot long ground radials. It was
electrically resonant on approximately 1000 kc. Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V 5 Foot Balanced Coaxial Loop 2 Foot Box Loop KN4LF Amateur & SWL Radio History: http://www.kn4lf.com/index.htm KN4LF MF Radio Propagation Theory Notes: http://www.kn4lf.com/kn4lf8.htm
