Tuning into WDHP 1620, St. Croix, Virgin Islands, a regular in here, I was distressed to find instead:
WKQV (maybe B or P), Coral Springs, Florida, playing "Super Oldies".
With a nostalgia station 30 miles north, it's obvious one was needed 30 miles south.
The FCC database (day entry below) lists a "New" application for DA2, 250W day and night, in Coral Springs on 1120, but apparently they are plopped down on 1620, right on WDHP.
No signs of life, just various jingles between songs:
"Sound of summer." "The station for more fun in the sun." "KQV, the big 16." "Super oldies."
