| Hi Everyone: A small but interesting opening to Europe occurred 
here earlier this evening. Many carriers heard, with a few producing audio. 
Nothing new heard. No audio on longwave, just a few very faint carriers. All 
times UTC. 756    Unknown. 10/08 
02:28 Classical music heard here. Never did hear anything spoken. Probably 
Germany and un-needed. Poor at best. 1134  Unknown. 10/08 02:34 Man and woman 
talking very rapidly in what sounded like Spanish, but I'm not sure. Spain is 
listed on this frequency but I usually hear Croatia. Poor 1215  United Kingdom 10/08 02:42 Virgin Radio 
with what sounded like oldies type music. Male DJ with a very British accent. 
Unusually I did not hear any Virgin Radio ID's. Fair at times. There was a 
second station underneath this, but I was unable to get the 
language. 1314 Norway 10/08 02:10 with it's usual early 
morning fair of pop music. Male DJ speaking Norwegian. Good signal at 
times. 1377 France Lille 10/08 02:53 with a 
man and a woman speaking French. Strangely no parallels heard, which is unusual. 
Fair signal at times. 1404 Unknown 10/08 02:55 Faint choral music heard 
here. Poor at best. 1424 Unknown 10/08 02:56 Female singing an operatic solo. Poor at best. Carriers were heard on: 153, 162, 171, 189, 567, 
675, 702, 765, 774, 783, 801, 864, 945, 918, 954, 963, 1008, 1098, 1143, 1152, 
1197, 1296, 1251, 1324, 1341, 1458, 1485, 1494, 1503, 1575, 1593, and
