[IRCA] TP 5 Dec Victoria version
Mostly not too inspiring before sunrise this morning, though there
was DX, including a couple of Chinese. Earlier, it was mostly the
big guns popping up, sometimes quite loudly.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1527UT
1566 HLAZ upbeat pop vocal , woman in Chinese 1528UT. Similar levels
at 1610UT, but after that, things faded away to a carrier, with no
reprise later in the morning.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1530UT
774 JOUB music box 1541UT (828 also, but not quite as strong as this)
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
945 CNR1 man in Chinese //1593 1537UT
1287 JOHR man in Japanese 1541UT, then Japanese pop.
1593 CNR1 man talking //945 1537UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
846 NHK1 woman talking //594 1537UT
954 man talking, likely Japanese 1538UT
1278 woman talking, maybe Japanese 1535UT
1503 JOUK woman in Japanese //594 1531UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here
855 1098 1116 1242 1359 1377 1386 1458 1575
best wishes,
Nick
