[IRCA] TP 14 Jan Victoria version
Just two audios this morning, both high band Asians and at local sunrise.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
not here either
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1566 HLAZ woman talking, Chinese, 1551UT, but also at 1601UT. Some
degree of audio remained until about 1620UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
1593 CNR1 woman talking, insistent Chinese inflection, 1556UT, no
parallels available, but heard pips weakly on the hour and a couple
of words sounding like "guangbo dientai"
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
774 828 and 972 seemed to be Asian, heard earlier on.
best wishes,
Nick
