[IRCA] TP 8 April Victoria version
A bit of an end of season feel to things this morning, big guns were
pretty small, but there were a couple of appearances of second tier
stations, some DU, and a little post sunrise audio as well.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in Japanese peaking briefly 1301UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB English lessons 1322UT
828 JOBB man in American English 1314UT, woman in Japanese, so
English lessons; reappeared more weakly at 1420UT, for a bit of post
sunrise action
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1312UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
702 woman talking, DU English inflection 1328UT
774 a mix with JOUB //828, but with dominant DU English sounding man at 1313UT
891 woman talking, man on phone? DU English inflection 1311UT
954 man talking, Japanese inflection 1335UT
1242 man talking, likely Japanese? 1319UT
1332 pop vocal 1321UT, perhaps Japan?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
693 972 1053 1206 1422 seemed to be Asian;
612 621 837 1098 seemed DU
best wishes,
Nick
