[IRCA] TP 11 Feb Victoria version
Some of the big guns came up to good strength (briefly) and there
were quite a few carriers, but not too much in between
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1501-2UT
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1508UT
828 JOBB woman in Japanese 1510UT; still fairly good at 1520UT s/off
1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese, with piano music 1548UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
693 JOAB reading web address, and then into Japanese, //774 1440UT
747 JOIB music box s/off 1524UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
639 CNR1 man in Chinese 1521UT
873 JOGB man in Japanese 1512UT //774
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK woman singing //594 1524UT
603 man talking, Chinese intonation,  but also soft music 1454UT;
another mess like yesterday
846 NHK1 man talking //594 1441UT
1557 woman talking, Chinese intonation 1541 and 1548UT
1593 man talking, Chinese?  1538UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
 558 756 855  891 918 936 945 954 1008 1026 1053 1098 1278  1287
1323 1404 1458  1503   1575 seemed to be Asian;
 756 1017 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
