Another exciting morning.   A few less Japanese today, but better for 
Korea and China.  In fact I have never heard Taiwan so well on 738, as 
it hardly ever makes it here (the signal seemingly all absorbed in 
Puyallup, much like the North Koreans), and it's my first log of it 
since the last solar minimum.  Three Alaskans heard also, including 
KSDP, a rarity here.  Also never heard CNR1 on 540, so another top notch 
morning.
  I know with certainty there was DX beyond listed here.  I skipped 
past some of the common stations during live listening, and in the 
interests of time didn't check them all on reviewing the recording.  My 
review wasn't that rigourous either, for the same reason!


540	CNR1	CHINA	 Quite astounded to hear choral music, //other CNR1 
channels, coming in through CBK at 1344.  Not something I've ever noted 
before.

558	HLQH	S.KOREA	    Laid back vocal by a woman at 1302, woman announcer 
in Korean at 1304.

567	JOIK	Sapporo, JAPAN	  Man in Japanese, time pips at 1200

594	JOAK	Tokyo, JAPAN	Two men in Japanese at 1201, apparently at some 
sports event.

603	HLSA	S.KOREA	    Much easier to confirm // today, with Korean pops, 
woman announcer at 1358

612	4QR	Brisbane, AUSTRALIA    talk by woman at 1407 with man on phone.

639	CNR1	Woman in Chinese at 1201, //981.

657	Making it through 660 Calgary splatter with choral music at 1353

666	JOBK	Osaka, JAPAN	Man in Japanese at 1301.

693	JOAB	Tokyo, JAPAN	Time pips at 1200, then woman in Japanese.

729	JOCK	Nagoya, JAPAN	Man in Japanese at 1305, //594

738		TAIWAN	Woman in Chinese at 1401, //1143.  Lot of repeated phrases - 
weather forecast perhaps?

language lesson.

music, //594.   A second station with talk in behind.

963	CRI	CHINA	Woman in Russian at 1411 - maybe the second station I 
heard earlier?

972	HLCA	Danjing, S.KOREA  Man in Korean at 1201

981	CNR1	Time pips at 1200, woman in Chinese, then choral music.

1017	JOLB	Fukuoka, JAPAN	Language lesson at 1304, //828 etc.

1098	CNR1	Choral music at 1341, //6125

1107	unID	Laid back vocal by a man at 1255, but faded before the hour.	

1116	4BC	Brisbane, AUSTRALIA	Ad string at 1320.   A second station in 
the background.

1143		TAIWAN    Woman in Chinese with musical selections, mixing with 
another station with man talking at 1333.   Was able to // with 738 later.

1179	JOOR	Osaka, JAPAN	Man in Japanese at 1300, then music

1188	JOKP	Kitami, JAPAN	Man in Japanese at 1300, //594

1205.96	Yanbian, CHINA	 Man and woman talking in Korean at 1357. 
Considerably stronger than yesterday.

1215	unID	Heard 5+1 time pips at 1400, but that was about it

1296	JOTK	Matsue, JAPAN  traces of talk, NHK pips at 1300

1305	unID	Talk by a woman at 1309

1386	NHK2 	sychros, JAPAN	Woman and man with language lesson at 1317, 
another station in the background

1413	JOIF	Fukuoka, JAPAN	Vocal by a man in Japanese at 1307

1494	unID	JAPAN	Traces of Japanese talk at 1417.

1503	JAPAN	Group of people conversing in Japanese at 1338, //666. 
Sounded like a drama presentation of some type..

1548	4QD	Emerald, AUSTRALIA	Woman conversing with another at 1339.

1566	HLAZ	Jeju, S.KOREA	Choir signing a hymn at 1316

1575	AFN	synchros, JAPAN	   Not as strong as yesterday but definitely // 
web stream at 1312 with pop music

1575	VOA	THAILAND    Woman in SE Asian language at 1420.  AFN still in 
the background!
