Re: [IRCA] Logging Methodology?
A late chiming in, Ken.
My own logsheets for the last number of years
have been the submissions to this list and to
IRCA's DX World Wide. Perhaps not the most
organized system, hi, but I can generally find
out fairly quickly if I've heard something before
... not that it usually matters.
Some years ago, I recall a program for
controlling the Drake R8 which had a logging
subsystem that seemed brilliant to me. A
keystroke, I think, recorded the frequency and
time, and you added your own details. It may
have recorded other details also, but I'd have to
dig it up. It saved lots of time when the DX was
coming thick and fast, and it was fairly easy to
transfer the results to a submission to a DX column.
best wishes,
Nick

Thanks Mark and Bruce!
Seems the consensus is a spreadsheet.  That'll
work for me.  Just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything else.

Hi Ken,
I also use a spreadsheet. Often I write notes
down in a notepad, then transfer them over to
the spreadsheet, but I got way behind that way,
so I'm trying to log directly to the
spreadsheet now, and when I get time, I'll
finish copying what's left from my notes.
