It is difficult to believe it has been ten years since I last talked to John. He was a mentor, introducing me to the joy and economy of ultralight DX-ing. I last met him at his home a few days before his passing. He and Linda were preparing for a move to Orcas Island. I remember him telling me he was leaving Stillwater never to return. But fate dealt him a different end.
You are missed John.
