Re: [IRCA] [NRC-AM] GE SRII on eBay

Kevin,

I have used the term SR 1, as I have seen others use it too. You are
right there never really was a SR 1. It is the originial SuperRadio. SR
1 is quicker to type than originial SR..hi.
On the subject of the originial SR & SR 2, has anyone noticed a
difference in them, DXwise? My originial one is a hair more sensitive on
AM than the SR2, but the FM I think might be a bit hotter on the SR2. It
may just be the way the two were aligned. I have never owned a SR3.
However back in 1992 I tried one out at a hardware store at Keaau, HI
while I was there as it was on sale. But the one I tried was terrible.
It hardly would get all of the Hilo stations well, let alone the
Honolulu stations. I was 15 miles from Hilo too!
