You might also check 540.  There's a TIS near Castle Rock (near MP 53).  I heard it while driving through the area on vacation last month.  It was running a continuous ID, though it was a bit garbled and and partly unintelligible.  CBK etc might make it rough at night, but it may be possible during the day where you are.

Early this morning (1000 UT) WPXY 406 530 kHz in Woodland, WA was heard broadcasting road construction information regarding I-5.  The signal was weak and the near by Ridgefield HAR station is off the air.  Woodland is about 13 miles from here.  Heard only on the EWE antenna aimed NW.
