Paul,

Your so right about the 500 watt pre-sunrise power.  Being about 13 miles from the transmitter their underneath two stations on 1600 kHz when their at 12.5 watts.  Even with the pre-sunrise 500 watts, KOPT Eugene, OR (125 miles away) battles with out with KOHI until the ground wave takes over.
