Re: [IRCA] Transatlantic DX heard on SRF- M37V Pocket Radio

In Nfld., you could get that stuff on the fillings in your teeth. Assuming
you have fillings, that is, but maybe even if you don't, heh. This would be
a great place to try these ultralight radios. Spent over a week at a
DXpedition with Jim Renfrew this fall on the Avalon Peninsula, facing Europe
AND Brazil, and would have loved to have had one of these for comparison
with the Drakes and longwires we were using. There were times I really would
have loved to null a few of the stronger TA pests, and it would have been an
interesting test. I am also eager to run wire towards the Canadian west, and
also to Thailand, South Korea and Japan, and an ultralight at the right time
just around or post-sunrise would be interesting to try there, under the
right conditions. I like the idea, too, that I could walk to the beach, well
away from power lines and other noise, and try there.
