Thanks very much for your generous comments, which are much  appreciated.
 
The PL-380 review and various fanatical loopstick experiments here are  
essentially efforts to keep some hobby excitement going during the TP-DXing  
doldrums, which seem especially bad this week :-) In any case, I'm  very happy 
to share the excitement of Ultralight radio DXing with anyone that  will 
listen, and greatly appreciate DXer.Ca's successful two year mission to  
spread the message worldwide.

Many thanks to Gary DeBock for his  continued and tireless efforts to better
the radio listening  hobby...

I was actually going to suggest an award (for the year  2009)
"Medium Wave Hobbyist of the Year" for efforts above and  beyond
the call of duty to better the radio hobby...

But with Gary  in the room, any room for that matter...
It would be NO contest.

And  if I could come up with a gold or silver plated
Sony (or Sangean, or  Tecsun) URL, I would most certainly
do so - and award it to  you-know-who.

So. Hats off to  Gary.
