KUSD AM, 690 if I recall,  in Vermilion, SD went off the air for good 
some time back after SDPB finished the network of translators covering 
the whole State. It was still in operation in 1991 and they were talking 
about closing it down or upgrading to a new transmitter at that time. 
About 3 months after visiting the transmitter site I was laid off from 
SDPB and moved out of State so I don't know when they went off air.
