[IRCA] TP 8 Mar Victoria version

Given the K-index values, this was quite a lively Japanese morning. I tended to agree more with Bruce today, definitely livelier after 1300UT, but there was action after 1400UT also, just not as much.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

747JOIB man in JJ 1418UT //774
774 JOUB man in JJ 1301UT, though back for many visits until after 1400UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

828 JOBB man in JJ 1302UT //774; a reprise at 1407UT
1053 KK jammer 1326UT
1287 JOHR pop mx, man in JJ 1303UT
1566 HLAZ man in JJ, 1310UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK man in JJ 1309UT; also noted as late as 1442UT
693 JOAB woman talking //774 1329UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1331UT, singing practice shortly afterwards

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK man talking 1259UT, followed by NHK pips, //594 after 1300UT
738 pop mx 1401UT
837 JOQK man in JJ //594 1306UT
873 JOGB man talking //774 1338UT
891 slow voiced man 1429UT, almost sure was JJ; no parallel available
954 woman talking, JJ inflection 1435UT
1242 woman talking, pretty sure was JJ, 1432UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

702 846 864 1089 1116 1134 1125 1278 1503

best wishes,

Nick
