[IRCA] TP 10 Mar Victoria version

Yes, a sunrise enhancement today, mostly for the higher band. But how do you enhance the paint-peeling performance that was going on earlier on the NHK stations in particular.....

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man and woman JJ 1317UT
747 JOIB EE lessons 1229UT
774 JOUB man in JJ 1315UT, and numerous other times
828 JOBB man in JJ 1324UT, many other times also
972 HLCA man in KK 1244UT
1566 HLAZ choral mx w/organ, 1429UT, this was the enhancement...although it was pretty close to this level again at...1601UT w/man in CC. Last really readable fade up was 1616UT, but audio traces for quite some time afterward.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

693 JOAB winning the battle with CBU splash KK lessons 1406UT
891 JOHK woman in JJ //594 at 1426UT
954 JOKR man in JJ 1409UT, if not for splash would have been perfectly readable
1053 KK jammer 1349UT
1422 JORF woman in JJ 1427UT, might be the loudest heard here, overcoming the usual splash
1593 CNR1 pips at 1430UT, Beijing time check

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

837 JOQK man in JJ //594 at 1314UT
864 ? old time jazz singing, trumpet solo 1355UT, 3 and 1 pips on hour, Korea?
873 JOGB EE lessons //828 1241UT
1242 JOLF likely, man in JJ 1432UT
1287 JOHR woman in JJ 1320UT, and many other times, but never really strong

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 slow vocal mx 1439UT, no sign of 603; man talking at 1407UT sounded relaxed, KK?
702 JOFB/JOKD EE lessons 1329UT //774
738 two stations deep in the splash 1414UT, neither man nor woman sounded FF
846 NHK1 woman talking //567 1243UT
909 JOCB woman talking //774 at 1337UT
918 ? laid back vocal 1340UT
945 NHK1 (JOIQ?) man in JJ //594 1322UT
963 rapid talk by woman, sounded JJ, but not //594 at 1326UT
1089 JOHB woman in JJ //828 1405UT
1179 man and woman talking, JJ inflection? 1342UT
1188 JOKP man talking //567 1251UT
1206 Yanbian? woman and man talking 1338UT
1269 JOHW / JOFM man in JJ //1287 at 1245UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

1008 1035 1116 1134 1143 1458

best wishes,

Nick
