[IRCA] TP 16 May Victoria version
After quite a dry period, there was a little evidence of DX this morning.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no, only a little evidence
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
really quite little
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
tiny, really
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 man talking 1120UT, a bit of music, then man and woman talking
animatedly...leaning a bit towards Japan, as 1287 was heard also, and
quite a good carrier on 747
1287 weak pip at 1100UT, followed by man mumbling; pop music at
slightly better strength heard at 1150UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
738 747 1116 1548
best wishes,
Nick
