[IRCA] TP 30 July Victoria version
Interesting to see what was on the coast. A lot of carriers here
later on, with Asian audio earlier
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1124UT; ID'd at 1111UT w/man in Japanese
//747, but a bit weaker then
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1566 3NE?? erratic fading, but heard man saying "57218", and woman
talking on phone, 1232UT, don't think it was HLAZ.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 JOIB man talking //774 1111UT
1287 man talking rapidly, Japanese inflection?
1566 choral music 1049UT HLAZ?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
567 621 675 738 756 828 891 1008 1035 1107 1116 1278 1476 1503 1512
1539 1593 1611 1629 (hum)
best wishes,
Nick
