Re: [Swlfest] Fwd: [uk-radio-listeners] Radio Netherlands Media Network 25th anniversary vodcast

When I was at the post office last week, I saw someone with an
Intercourse News t-shirt on!

It brought a smile.....

I don't remember which Fest it was when Jonathan was there. But, I very
clearly remember standing in the lobby of the hotel, where Marks was
buying about a dozen copies of the Philadelphia Inquirer to take back to
the Netherlands. The top of the front page headline in the Philly paper
that day was, "Marks Indicted for Murder."
That day the Philly paper sold better than the Intercourse News did.

Jonathan was at Fest #5 or #6, if I recall...
Fans of "Media Network" might wish to be on the lookout for this
production.
I believe "vodcast" probably refers to Video On-Demand webcast...
I hear Jim Cutler every day in the Lehigh Valley -- he does voiceovers
for WODE "The Hawk" 99.9 FM...which is audible in Kulpsville...

I have been commissioned by Andy Sennitt, editor of the Media Network
website, to put together a special vodcast, which is going to make a lot
more sense if you remember my work on the Media Network show at Radio
Netherlands. So here's a little advanced warning to put May 7th 2006
into your calendar. On that date Radio Netherlands will be celebrating
one quarter century of Media Network on-air and on-line by bringing you
a vodcast.
Where are Mike Bird, Victor Goonetilleke, Diana Janssen and Jim Cutler
these days? We have spared no expense (actually we have!) to track them
down for this safari into the past - and future. More news as it comes
together....
