XM to Add Fox; Canada Partner Prepares for Air

XM Satellite Radio is launching the Fox News Talk Channel in January.  
The satcaster says the channel will offer news, analysis and  
commentary from Fox News personalities and give listeners another  
chance to hear the primetime Fox programs.

Meantime, Canadian Satellite Radio Inc. is getting ready for the  
launch of XM Canada, its digital radio service, in time for the  
holiday season, the company announced. XM Canada is a Canadian-owned  
partnership between XM Satellite Radio and Toronto business  
entrepreneur John Bitove. It is one of three companies that received  
an okay from the Canadian government in June to offer pay radio in  
that country.

XM Canada has unveiled a Web site to pre-register subscribers.
