** CUBA. 9710, Sept 5 at 0614, no RHC in English like there was this
late last night (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 11760 & 15140, Sept 5 at 1357, RHC in Spanish; 15230 also on
but deadair if not JBM; and something else? on 13780 (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. 90.1, KUCO stream, canned ID at 2000 UT Sept 5 claims it
also ``owns`` KBCW McAlester and KCSC Woodward, despite having sold
them off to gospel huxters last year (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 8992 USB, Sept 5 at 0611, another crypto exercise almost
finished, ID sounded like ``Gum-drop, out``.
4724 USB, Sept 5 at 0623, another crypto and // 8992 USB. These are
usual simul on several more bands/frequencies, like 15016 and
11-something (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. WRMI skedgrid updated Sept 3 suddenly loses `Classical
Redneck Radio` -- good riddance! I was wondering how this obscure
``ministry`` could afford all the $ $ $ that TOMBS used to spend - and
System E is now labeled World Radio Network! Tremendous improvement in
programming, relay of (ex)-SW stations from around the world, but I`m
sure it`s merely filler until RMI can get some more paying
customer(s), so enjoy it while you can. For exact schedule you have to
consult WRN website, presumably N American stream:
https://www.encompass.tv/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Encompass_WRN_English_For_North-America_A25.pdf
But not filling all the previous TOMBS/CRR hours: now there is quite a
lot more white space on the grid, e.g. less overnighting. At 0618 Sept
5, 5850 is on but no longer 5800 nor 5950, and no 9955 nor 9455, while
9395 remains with SMTV. But 7570, 7730 and 7780 are all on (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 9330, Sept 5 at 0613, no signal from World`s Last Chance
Radio on the WBCQ Super-Stition, apparently really off rather
than unpropped. Out of order? BCQ has made an emergency substitution
on its itty-bitty ``classic`` transmitters still available and mostly
unused, probably 24h like 9330 was: Sept 5 at 0620 I find it JBA on
6159.93, typical offfrequenciness. And at 0626 also on 5129.9 at S9+20
// 6160- but 3265 is still silent. Then in daytime Sept 5 at 1434,
WLCR still absent from 9330 direct, so at 1447 I try the NH remote,
and there they are: slightly out of calibration but obviously both
still offset-minus as required at WBCQ: 6160- S9 // 5130- S7 with WLCR
haughty Britaccent, and canned ID at 1500 still claiming to be on 9330
- what do they know? Beyond the Earth being Flat? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
** U S A. 9930, Sept 5 at 1435, WTWW with TOMBS, S9+25/40 direct,
fairly clean signal, but detectable JBA carrier parasitic spurs on
9917.2 and 9942.8, characteristic of this particular transmitter, also
accompanying 5085 at 12.8 kHz above and below (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. Heavy area tropo inbrings the usual Tulsa market V/UHF DTV
channels, some Good, more Bad, and an RF9 of which there are zero of
any power in OK - tough luck, KWTV. Otherwise the closest 9 is KAFT
Fayetteville AR, seems kidvid, UT Sept 5 at 0310, and fade-in again
around 0400 breaking up/in but enough to make out the AR {PBS icon}
PBS bug in LR, virtual 13. My STB may have remembered one of their
subchannels rather than main PBS, like KAFT-3 as in rabbitears, but is
no longer known as Arkansas ETN, rather AR PBS. RF9 site is SSE of
Fayetteville on the way to Ozark, at Sunset in the Boston Mountains,
so should also get into Fort Smith.
Best sigs from Tulsa area, KQCW ``19`` RF 20, and KMYT ``My 41`` RF
34. My rooftop antenna remains pointed SE to get a bit more from E/OK
and less from OKC to the SSE (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR)
This report dispatched at 2136 UT September 5
** VANUATU. 9960, Sept 5 at 0615, R. Vanuatu remains here instead of
7260 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 7235, not relogged lately, but still JBA carrier
reliably, S7 = noise level, Sept 5 at 0616. Unknown broadcaster or
ham? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
