``[WOR] Mix Radio International on 12155 USB as of 2015 UTC --- For at
least the second time this week, pirate Mix Radio International's
broadcasting up on 12155 USB. It's not audible out west here, but it's
strong via the SDR in Fair Hill, Maryland, with the station ID spelled
out in the waterfall image. Today, Mix is playing classic rock and R&B
extending back into the 1950s. Eric Fetters-Walp, Lake Stevens,

appreciated. Thanks this week to Gary Drew, Cranfield UK, for a

** U S A. 4840 & 5935, Jan 29 at 0519, WWCR still off the air. 12160 &
13845, Jan 29 at 1712, also still off the air, presumably powerless.
Ditto at 2035; and at (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2332)
** U S A. 820 kHz, Jan 29 at 0742 UT, WBAP has CCI of almost equal
strength, Florida ads, mentions 96.7 and 98.3, sports talk. That makes
it WWBA Largo FL, U4 50/1 kW, per NRC AM Log, CP for U2 10000/230
watts, and group The Big 8, which consist of those three frequencies,
with W252DF on 98.3 and W244EG on 96.7. It`s certainly not just 230 or
even 1000 watts, but day power, and pattern? Day has notch toward
Dallas, but plenty lobe just north of that; night major lobe SW into
Gulf (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 1280, WNAM, Neenah WI: my report for QSL on DX tests, along
with my logs of Dec 30 and 31 as in:
https://www.w4uvh.net/ghlogs_2025_1225_1231.txt
``Steve, I was glad to publicize the WNAM DX tests in advance on my
World of Radio program and in my WOR iogroup. I did hear it myself as
detailed in my published logs at the time, but did not make a
recording. I would appreciate a QSL, for reception via the N8BTR
remote if not direct to Enid OK, which I also accomplished. If this
does not meet your requirements, I understand. Thanks for doing the
tests! My equipment for direct reception: NRD-545 receiver and 100`
E/W longwire; also DX-398 with internal antenna for directionality.
Best wishes, Glenn Hauser`` Reply:
``Thanks Glenn, I appreciate the report! You are confirmed and I am
mailing a QSL card to your attention this week. Hopefully it doesn't
freeze to the Interstate on the way down. The morse code within the
test was
