Glenn Hauser logs April 10-11, 2026

Saturday, April 11 2026

** ARGENTINA [non]. 9455, Fri Apr 10 at 2300, WRMI cuts into RAE
music, multiling IDs, and English! again instead of sked Portuguese;
VG S9+30 signal into Georgia SDR but bothered at first by OTHR
clickery. Informal announcer introduces something from YouTube held
over from yesterday due to lack of time, ``World Wonders`` about the
Guaraní vs Jesuits; narrator sounds like David Attenborough? and he
constantly stresses ``Guaráni``. 2314 another multiling ID, next topic
2315 about sailing on rivers. Not listened further until 2357 recheck,
now in Portuguese, for how long? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785, Apr 10 at 2200, VOT English S9+20 into Georgia SDR,
but ACI from 11780 Brasil even tuned USB. At 2233 I notice she is
reciting the complete English schedule, but in disorder, apparently by
target area resulting in some times and frequencies mentioned twice
when they have more than one target. Music, and same thing played
again already at 2239. 2251 multi-lingual ID filler reel. 2253 s/off
still mentioning only 1230 on 17620. 2254 IS, 2255 cuts off and on and
off and on and finally off to stay before 2256 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2342 monitoring: confirmed first
SWBC resumed after missing last week, Friday April 10 at 1300 on WRMI
15770, JBA S2/S3 direct, ECSS helps a bit. In case I slept thru it,
