** JAPAN. 11800, Apr 11 at 1400, now the only English time and
frequency for NHK World R. Japan, and 11815 now in Japanese. Both are
too weak to be usable, but 11815 is slightly stronger, S6 vs S4 for
11800, why? HFCC shows both 300 kW, 11815 at 235 degrees, 11800 at
240, both aimed away from us (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** MALI. 5995, Apr 11 circa 0630, no signal from ORTM. Wolfgang
Bueschel says power cuts in Bamako are the cause of this and 9635 day
frequency, and scheduled CRI relays all missing again on April 11
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 15500, Sat Apr 11 at 1430, REE`s NAm frequency is OFF, and
15390, the Af fq continues to be off. All nominally start at 1400 on
weekends. That leaves 17715 for SAm, 15520 for ME, both of which are
sufficient S5/S6 here, but it`s a silly ballgame which occupy so much
REE time. 15500 still off a few hours later (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 11785, Apr 11 at 2200+ quick check, VOT not off the air but
poor signal direct (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2342 monitoring: UT Sat April 11 at

S9+15/25 into Maryland SDR.
Note: The Russia item about MW in the FE, correct frequency is 765,
not 756 as in Rus`-DX I was quoting.
